Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, the promised Messiah, Savior, Lord, and King. He came from heaven, was born of a virgin, lived a perfectly sinless life, revealed the Father, taught the truth, performed mighty works, and willingly died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He bore the judgment we deserved, rose bodily from the grave, conquered sin and death, ascended to heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. Through genuine repentance and saving faith in Him, sinners receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, eternal life, and the sure hope of resurrection and glory. He is coming again to judge the world, defeat evil, gather His people, and reign forever.
The Creed
I believe in God the Father, the Creator of the universe and everything in it, the one true sovereign, living God and the He is Holy, perfected righteous and pure, and you and I are not.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son and our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into the realm of the dead, completed His victory over sin, death, Satan, and the power of darkness, and rose bodily from the grave on the third day. He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. One day, He will return to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit and in the church—the body of Christ, made up of all genuine believers in Jesus throughout the world and throughout history. Christ is the Head of the church, and every believer is a member of His body, united together by one Spirit, one faith, and one Lord. I believe in the fellowship of believers, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and everlasting life.
